Lt. Dailey joined the department in 2001 and worked at the Men's Honor Farm, the Public Safety Center and the Men's Jail as a Line Staff Deputy. He served as a Facility Training Officer for several years and was also the Operations Deputy at the Public Safety Center before promoting to Sergeant in 2006. He was assigned to all three facilities as a Shift Sergeant before serving as the Operations Sergeant at the PSC and later as the Operations Sergeant at the Men's Jail. He was promoted to his current rank by Sheriff Christianson in 2012.
Lt. Dailey is the Commander of the Men's Jail and the Sheriff's Department Honor Guard and currently serves as the Secretary for the Central California Jail Manager's Association. He has a BA in Graphic Design from Southern Illinois University and is a Marine Corps Veteran.
