Lt. Mike Dailey graduated in 1990 from Southern Illinois University with a B.A. in Graphic Design. He then served 4 years in the Marine Corps and worked as a Graphic Artist in the private sector in

Throughout his career he has maintained his status as an active Honor Guard member and he has been an advisor in the Atwater Police Department Cadet Program. Combining a background of creative and operational experience, he has been involved in numerous projects improving the physical plants, the operating systems and the work environments of the adult detention facilities.
Mike was promoted to Lieutenant in 2012. He is currently assigned as Commander of the Men’s Jail and Commander of the Sheriff’s Honor Guard.
