Unit 1 & Unit 2 Visitation

Inmates are encouraged to maintain relationships with family and friends. Visitation is scheduled on a regular basis, limited only by the physical and personnel constraints of the Stanislaus County Adult Detention Facilities.

Inmates housed at Unit 1 & Unit 2 will be allowed one 60-minute visit per weekend, one inmate per day. Visitors will register 15 minutes prior to the visit*, at the PSC Unit 1 & 2 Visiting Center. All personal items will be placed in the provided storage lockers. Visitors will be limited to three (3) persons per inmate. They must be members of the inmate's immediate family, such as mother, father, brother, sister, husband, children, boyfriend or grandparent. If there is no family in this area, then one (1) friend may substitute.

You must fill out the INMATE VISITOR REQUEST FORM to receive approval for visiting an inmate.

If you are denied visitation privileges, you may fill out the INMATE VISITOR APPEAL / APPROVAL FORM to request an appeal.

*The Visit Gate will open 15 minutes prior to each Visit Time for visitor registration. The Visit Gate will be locked at the start of Visit Time and late arrivals will not be allowed visitation.

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.

Get free downloads for Internet Explorer 7, including recommended updates as they become available. To download Internet Explorer 7 in the language of your choice, please visit the Internet Explorer 7 worldwide page.
