Quick Facts:
- Unit 1 is a 192-bed facility and opened in 1994.
- Unit 2 is a 192-bed facility and opened in 2013.
Minimum Housing Unit 1 was initially built with the construction of the Public Safety Center (SDC-West) as a minimum-security facility for incarcerated individuals housed at the Public Safety Center. In 2013, after the closure of the Men's Honor Farm on Grayson Road, and the opening of Unit 2, it became its own facility separate from the Safety Center. Unit 2 was built to replace several barracks that were destroyed in a fire from the Men's Honor Farm in 2010.

Minimum Housing visits are completed in-person through glass.
- The maximum number of incarcerated persons for each visit block is 10.
- Each incarcerated person is allowed a maximum of four visitors at one time.

- Session 4: MHU2B 1100-1130
- Session 5: MHU2C 1200-1230
- Session 6: MHU2C 1300-1330
- Sunday:
- Session 1: MHU2C 0700-0730
- Session 2: MHU2C 0800-0830
- Session 3: MHU2A 0900-0930
- Session 4: MHU2A 1100-1130
- Session 5: MHU2B 1200-1230
- Session 6: MHU2B 1300-1330
