Message an Incarcerated Person

Edovo Messenger makes it easy and affordable for incarcerated users to stay connected to loved ones on the outside. Edovo Messenger is seamlessly integrated into Edovo’s tablets, making it easier to monitor and manage incarcerated person’s behavior and increase positive communication with personal and local support systems, ultimately reducing recidivism.

Edovo uses a low cost model to remove barriers between incarcerated persons and loved ones. Incarcerated persons and their loved ones will have greater access to more affordable communication, encouraging them to connect more frequently.

How does it work?

Each contact will receive a link that is secure to their phone number. It cannot be copied or replicated. From here, the family or friend can accept or BLOCK the message to discontinue all outreach from that incarcerated person.

Once accepted, a family or friend will have an Edovo account accessible at connect.edovo.com. From there, they will be able to see their contacts on the inside, change their plans, block communications, or seek help from an Edovo employee.

The first 5 sponsors that an incarcerated individual invite will receive a $0 plan for 10 free messages. After those first 5 sponsors, individuals will have to choose one of the paid plans in order to respond to the incarcerated and begin communications.
